Red Lion Crimson 3.2.1030 Release Notes

The newest Crimson® 3.2 software update, 3.2.1030.0, is now available. This update has the following enhancements:

  • Provide a means whereby a SQL query can be constructed to write data to a SQL database. Two new SQL functions were added, RunDynamicSQL() to send the string, and GetDynamicSQLStatus() to report the status of that query.
  • Added allow runtime configuration of SQL queries database and instance. Allows the SQL Queries Database and instance to be configurable at runtime.
  • Added apply changes from master widget. Allows synchronization of certain aspects of an instantiated widget with a master widget.
  • Added support for unaligned reads to Modbus slave driver. Modbus Slave Driver now responds to 16 bit or 32 bit requests for the ping function.
  • General improvement of communication blocks handling in complex drivers to improve overall performance.
  • Added a series of functions to enhance the use of indirect tag access: ForceIntTag(), ForceRealTag(), ForceStringTag().
